For a long time, we considered Resident Evil 4 to be one of the greatest games of all time, and if we were being completely honest, we'd tell you that it still is. Back in 2005, it was a proper kick up the backside for Resident Evil, which was a series quickly going mouldy and rotten like a zombified corpse.
Now Capcom has reanimated Resident Evil 4, bringing it back to life for the fans, and hopefully, a whole new generation of gamers who perhaps didn't play it the first time round, almost seven years ago. Thing is, seven years is a long time, so the question you might be asking is, how kind has time been to Resident Evil 4? Is it still the seminal survival horror shooter that it was back in the day, or has it gone a bit crusty?
